How it works
Search Console App verifies your website with Google and then creates a new website in your Google account. The App does the following:
- Connect your Google Account
using Google OAuth.
- Verify your website’s final domain
automatically through a verification token placed on your site by the app.
- Publish your site
the app will ask Google to verify your website ownership.
- Sitemap will be automatically submitted
to Google for crawling and indexing.
- Stay up to date:
every time you publish your site, the app resubmits your sitemap so Google can crawl & index updated content.
Requirements and known limitations
- A Google Account is required to log in and connect the app.
- Your website must have a valid SSL certificate (https). Most sites include this automatically.
